I’ve been battling to get the new computer to put out a smooth high resolution large videos over the past couple of days. So until I sort it out I’m still producing the videos from the old computer. The new computer finally turned up yesterday. My old Mac Pro is getting pretty old and so at editing the videos for the site. So I decided last week to get a faster machine. This one is actually for Zac so he can help me with editing the videos and producing preview videos. Soon I’m hoping to put little preview videos of each scene on the latest updates page. He has already produced some little clips with music and graphics. They look really cool!
When I ordered the machine I thought the customising would be done here in Australia. I was really surprised to see that it was put together in Shanghai. Which makes me think that the money I paid all went overseas. And I wonder how much of it actually went to the company that built the machine in China and how much went to Apple in the US. If I had known that it was going to be all done off shore I probably would have ordered it through a retail store in Australia rather than through the online store. At least then some business in Australia would have benefited.
Running a porn site is actually a lot of hard work with long hours of editing and organising shoots. But it does have its perks. And those are getting to meet beautiful men from all over the world. I sometimes take for granted all the travel and amazing men I get to meet. But I’m reminded often when I get back home and look back over what we’ve done. When I edited the shoot with Harry Louis this morning I was reminded of how much fun we had in London. It was quite expensive to stay there, but it was well worth it for all the beautiful guys we met with. And Harry’s scene was quite a lot of fun. I’m hoping some day we can get him down to Australia.
