It’s not an easy job pairing up my mates for shoots. Mostly the guys have not met each other before. But this is one pair up that worked out really well. Both Chris and Scott have got a lot of positive energy and really clicked during this shoot. It’s one of the most fun shoots I’ve had this year. And it really shows in the photos and their video. I can’t wait to shoot with them again.

I have made a quick visit to Berlin this week. I am visiting a friend and working on a very special project that could see me travelling here more often in the future. In between meetings I am also getting to see some very sexy guys. I’m just here for a week, so it’s been really busy! On the weekend I will fly back from Berlin to Asia where I will have a few days to relax before going home and back to work. Here’s a quick pic of me passing by one of my favourite big stores in Berlin.

Every year when it gets to the end of summer I always think I haven’t done enough outdoor shoots. But when I look back there were quite a lot of rooftop shoots. But no beach shoots this year. I guess that comes from living so far away from the surf coast. One of the last shoots in summer was this one with Tom Lucas. Some guys like to show off, and Tom is definitely one of them. He pretty much puts on his own show as I take his photos. Even pulling a few stunts that I did not expect at all. Shooting with Tom has actually taught me a few things about getting different styles of modelling in to the shoots. To some guys, like Tom, modelling and pulling poses comes naturally. Others need a bit more encouragement.

I have been getting a tonne of new guys applying to model with us in the past couple of months. So I have been flat out meeting the guys and putting them through their first shoots. So many that I haven’t been able to get to everyone. One of my favourite newcomers is Scott Tyler. Scott is from Sydney and recently moved down here to Melbourne. I loved Scott’s first shoot so much that I have already invited him back for another. I have already had my other mates asking to get into scenes with him.

I made the most of this long Easter weekend. In the past couple of years I have been away over the Easter break. So when I realised the long weekend was coming up and I would be staying in Melbourne I decided to make the most of it and get some of the guys around for shoots. I love this spa room in one of the local hotels so I filled the hot tub while the guys got in to (and out of) their speedos. I got some amazing sits while the guys got up to some mischief. It was nice to get some new faces on camera too. I can’t wait to introduce all the new guys over the coming weeks.

I’m now filming with as many guys as possible before summer wraps up. It’s been great getting so many amazing scenes shot in a small space of time. The guys have been really great! I’m always surprised at every shoot. You never know what’s going to happen. Mostly I have a plan of what’s going to happen. But it always changes along the way. The things that change the plan are usually the guys suggesting things they’d like to do, or the weather. Melbourne’s unpredictable weather sometimes means that an outside shoot is now going to be inside. Luckily we have been having some amazing warm sunny days. So now is the time to shoot as much outside as possible. Above is my outdoor studio and that IKEA porn bench.

You will have noticed by now my obsession with shooting the guys in soccer gear. You see on my past trips out of Australia I seem to end up buying loads of sports gear that you can’t find in Australia. And I think I’m addicted to seeing guys in the gear. I seem to have a load of the stuff now. So I try to feature the guys in the kit as often as I can. I was really impressed by the shots of Jake Jensen in the green gear with the long Adidas pulled up socks. The shots at the end with his long cock hanging between those green socks are really hot. Some other recent hot soccer gear shoots were with Skippy Baxter and Adam El Shawar.

Someone posted a photo of me from my old shoots at the beach this week on Twitter. It reminded me that I haven’t actually been down to the beach, or for that matter anywhere down the coast, to do any shooting this summer. I really must rectify that quickly! I love getting the guys down to the beach or out in the bush to do some hot outdoor action shoots. Those have been some of most fun shoots I’ve ever done. Now who should I invite along?

While I’m busy doing a lot of shoots this summer there is another big project going on. Last year I was looking for someone who could do something a bit nicer with the design of the site. While Tyson is good with the techy stuff and I provide all the content, neither of us are very good designers. So Tyson found a guy who was happy to put some time in to whipping up some new designs for us. It’s all pretty exciting. The site hasn’t had a makeover since the big changes were done in 2010. And back then the design was just thrown together by a few of us. I can’t wait to see what he comes up with. The changes should start to rill out gradually in the next few weeks. In the meantime I’m off to shoot an action scene with a couple of my mates. Happy Sunday!
The city of Gdansk didn’t hit last month’s Europe itinerary by accident. You see I have a mate there who has found models for me in the past, Like Jakub, Axel (pic) and Justin Evans. So after hearing so much about Poland I decided to add it to the trip. And I’m really glad I did. I don’t know about other parts of Poland, but the city of Gdansk is a really beautiful place. Loads of cute guys too. We only had a short stay so I didn’t spend any time recruiting news guys. I already had my hands full checking out the city and shooting with some of my favourite guys there. But it’s definitely a city I would visit again. Everyone is so friendly there!
